Sometime, we meet difficulties to get medicine.
For instance, it can happen that right in the middle of the night or a Sunday afternoon, you have to struggle to find an open pharmacy

It is even more challenging if you are a disabled person or if you can’t get out from your bed and lack support from family or friends to get your medication

Another example is when there is no available public first aid services that could save lives.

This is when the solution « Pills on wheels » comes in

An “On-call pharmacy drone concept”

It improves the market fluidity between sellers (pharmacies, drug companies) and buyers.

It can significantly help anybody with mobility difficulties
And finally, it helps to reduce traffic in city center.

The service would be available in city center and mid suburbs.

During the day, the drone stays at a fixed place, similar to a vending machine.

It can be on the front door of a pharmacy or a strategic place in the city (commercial area, public square)

Slide 5

It has a storage capacity and You can buy immediately standard medicines  (e.g. cough syrup, vitamins, antipain, etc), avoiding long queues

If you need something specific, you can scan your prescription and the medicine will be deliveredl.

If the medicine is not available, the drone will take your order and deliver it to your home later.

During the night the drone acts as a mobile pharmacy on call.

If you need a medicine urgently, order it via a app on your phone, then the drone will deliver it to you.

The drone will always come back to its charging station and be refueled with medicines.

The speed of movement of services will be globally accelerated by their automation, while the average speed of movement of the citizens   will slow down because this effervescence of mobile services.

My proposal will be at the expense of the compagnies offering these services, they will be of major economy because it limits the costs in logistic means, saving energy, money, and time in traffic.

At night, it will move and deliver all the city, tanks to multiple selling points where the customer can meet the drone next to his place.
If you live in a suburb, you will have to move by yourself at one of these meeting points, available on your application, « Pills on wheels »

To conclude, I think my On-call pharmacy drone concept  Is valuable for an urban population.

I also believe that beyond the distribution of medicine,It would be important to add other service as a first aid kit and a defibrillator.

‘Pills on wheels’ presents an opportunity to reduce local traffic while securing primary medical support.
